Just made it back from the "Focus on Forever" event in Lansing Michigan. It was a wonderful time. Thank you to Mike Parker and all of the National and Michigan PF staff for hosting us. The key point for the weekend was that if we want to continue to survive as an organization and as conservationists we need to invest in our youth programs and younger members. It doesn't matter how much habitat we plant to day if there are no hunters/conservationists to see it through tomorrow.

Sporting Clays Shoot

Thank you to all of you who showed up at Nappanee conservation club to shoot sporting clays on Saturday. Yes, we did end up getting rained out. We shut the shoot down shortly after lunch and packed up. We did however have a good morning turnout and everybody had a great time. Kenny and the guys from the conservation club set up a great course. We can always hope for better weather NEXT TIME.
